Speak Out @Bronx Art Space

I left the opening night of the Speak Out for Black Lives Matter event at Bronx Art Space feeling happy in the company of a younger generation of community activist artists leaders and performance artist.  And the artwork on the walls, which was installed by an all woman installation crew I was told, was not that shabby either.

The month long show features over 40 artists works dealing with current social issues surrounding the black and brown experience in mainstream american society today.

It is curated by Linda Cunningham, Eva Mayhabal Davis, and Dalaeja Foreman a team of community leaders, social activists and collaborators who live and work in NYC.
