Taj Mahal in Agra is the "the jewel of Muslim art in India"

We drove from New Delhi down to Agra to pay a visit to the Taj Mahal one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. The story of eternal love between The Shah Jahan, the fifth Muslim Mogul emperor and his wife Mumtaz Mahal is the story behind the inspiration to build this exquisite mausoleum.

Our ride to the entrance of the Taj Mahal which was about 10 blocks from our hotel

The hotel was in festive spirits
