The Broad in Downtown Los Angeles A Picture of America Past and Present

I felt a bit sad with the way a lot of important american artwork was displayed, I'll have to return and see if i feel the same way a second time around. works like Mike Kelley, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Barbara Kruger felt awkwardly hung and super sterilized giving them a forced narrative and a pretentious context. Institutional cleansing.
